This group is for all students studying at Edinburgh Napier who are from a Widening Access background.
This can include:
- Those who are care-experienced
- Young Carers
- Mature Students
- Joining in 2nd or 3rd year
- Refugees and Asylum Seekers
- Estranged from Family
- Attended a Schools for Higher Education Programme (SHEP) e.g. LEAPS
- Completed a SWAP access course
- From a SIMD20 postcode
This group is managed by dedicated Widening Participation student ambassadors who are studying at the university and work in partnership with Widening Access to support the student journey and encourage engagement.
