A vital part of the art of communicating is active listening. By developing techniques to listen effectively, you will be able to react appropriately in conversations, use information to complete tasks successfully as well as to ask useful, effective questions to further your understanding.

A staff and student favourite is a trip to Newhaven Harbour for fish and chips.
Walk or get the tram down to Newhaven Harbour on a sunny evening for traditional Scottish Fish & Chips. (Don’t forget the chippy sauce!!!)

As part of their course, students develop performance skills to succeed in public speaking. By working on skills such as pausing, use of tone, body language and eye contact, students will increase their confidence in regards to making presentations or participating in discussions and debates.
