I am a qualified native English teacher based in Edinburgh. I have 19 years teaching experience, including more than 14 years working in busy language schools throughout Britain and Europe, and more 5 years as a self employed teacher. I can teach online or face to face (if you are in Edinburgh).

First of all hello again, and apologies if you tried to contact me over the last few weeks. On February 22nd, I was badly hacked, and lost my Facebook profile and access to my teaching page.
Thankfully I have it back, and would be happy to teach (either online or face to face if you are in Edinburgh) any of the following :
General English / Exams / Business English / Help with CV & jobs / specific skills eg writing /pronunciation etc.

Well, I can't believe today is my 5 year anniversary as a self employed teacher.. When I began back in February 2018, things were pretty different in the world, I had just been made redundant from a big school in Edinburgh and with 2 young kids and a family to support, it was a risk to go on my own. But with 14 years teaching in language schools behind me, I had the experience and knowledge to give it a try, and I'm glad I did..
It's been an up and down 5 years, with some lovely students and I've met and taught some genuinely interesting people along the way. Covid was a big challenge for me, and I had to change to online teaching for around 2 years, which has helped me to adapt and teach students from all over the world, as well as the local Edinburgh population.
I'd love to keep writing, but I have a lesson to teach!!
SO the final thing I want to say is THANK YOU, particularly to my family who have been a brilliant support for me, and also all the amazing students I've taught and am still teaching over the last half a decade :)
