On Thursday the 12th of February, we will welcome Professor Lewis Ayres from the University of Durham for our first lecture of the semester. Prof. Ayres will
speak for us on early Christianity and Greek philosophy. We hope many of you can make it!

This semester our reading group will be on the Philosophy of Christian Virtue. Our first session, on Aristotle’s ethics, will be this Wednesday the 21st of January in the library at 24 George Square, and every other Wednesday thereafter. We hope to see many of you there, and we welcome newcomers!

We are delighted to welcome Professor Gaven Kerr from St Patrick’s College to speak for us on how to survive our own deaths! The lecture will take place next Thursday, December 4th, in 40 George Square lecture theatre B. We hope to see many of you there.
