Maths Week Scotland is an annual celebration of the importance of maths in the world around us.
This year Maths Week Scotland will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. In 2025, Maths Week Scotland takes place from 22 September – 28 September, and our theme this year is 'Wild Maths'. Happy New Year from Finn Finity and the Maths Week Scotland team! We are so excited for 2026, which will be our 10th anniversary, and can’t wait to share our plans with you soon.
We hope you all have a good start to the new year, and we'll be back for you full time next week.
It’s the final day of our Countdown to the Christmas holidays - which one of our doodles has been your favourite? Did you doodle along?
The team will be taking a break now over the festive period. We will be back for you again in January.
It's the last day of term, and the penultimate day of our Countdown to the Christmas holidays ( we know schools break up today, if they're not off already, but 19 seemed an odd number to finish on - no pun intended - so we doodled all the way to 20).
We hope everyone has a good break, and we look forward to working with you all again next year!
