Has owning anything to do with love?

For it and I have a love affair, so nearly human

We even have quarrels…”

Kaimes Hill, an evocative and important area of historical interest, sits in between Edinburgh and Livingston.
•
A perfect example of how an ancient community can be absolutely shat on by our greedy modern wants. In this case for landfill and continued quarrying.
•
Read more about Kaimes Hill in the Hillforts of West Lothian series, currently sotting atop Word Mountain, the mouth of the wolf.

In January 2023 I started a journal based on this book of Henry David Thoreau quotes.
•
The idea was to use Thoreau as an inspiration for my own daily writing about nature. Sometimes it turned out like that, sometimes it didn’t.
•
A year later I have two full notebooks and for some reason have began publishing them on the LW website.
•
You can read the entries here, as direct and unedited as its comes.

The Sacred Texts of Last Wolf gets an update with probably the most obvious choice of influential books.
•
The Last Wolf by Jim Crumley gave us more than a name.
•
• I strongly urge you to check out this book as well as the article on it which currently sits atop Word Mountain, the mouth of the wolf.
