Enjoyed our workshops, trips and talks this past year? Join us at our Annual General Meeting this Thursday 30th March to keep events like these going! The AGM will be held at 7PM in Room G.02, 50 George Square.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with our society. Joining the committee of your favourite society is a great way to improve your applied skills, make a difference in the community, and gain valuable experience that you can add to your CV. We have several roles becoming available for next year and require no previous experience! Just enthusiasm and a passion for wildlife and conservation 🌼

If you want to run for one of our available roles please fill in the attached form and come on Thursday evening! If you are not available to join us in person, you can send us a text/video with your application which will be read/showed to people on the night (but please fill in the form even if you cannot make it).

Highland Wildlife Park Trip 2023 - Interest Form 01/03/2023

As you may know, we have an exciting Highland Wildlife Park trip coming up on the 10th April!

This Friday, join us on a grand tour of Edinburgh’s best animal and plant-themes pubs! Come along to meet friendly, like-minded people while enjoying your favourite (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) drink! We will start at 7pm at the Dog House pub. The rest of the pubs on our route will be updated closer to the time of the event, but you can find clues to which pubs we will visit in this post 😉

This is an 18+ only event. And remember to bring along your ID and Student card for discounts!

Hello everyone! Thank you to everyone that came to our welcome week events! We hope you enjoyed them as much as we did!
To keep up the momentum, here are the next few events we are planning!

We are organising a Nature themed pub crawl, which will take place on the 30th September starting at 7pm at the Dog House!

On the 4th October we have a talk from the Friends of Pentlands at 7pm at a university location (tbc). This will be followed on the 9th October by an event in the Pentland hills! (Details to be confirmed)

We will also be doing A Documentary screening on the 3rd week of October, the details of this will be confirmed shortly! And keep an eye on our stories for on what date would work best for you!

Looking forward to seeing you all again!

Tomorrow! Our Botanical Gardens walking tour is tomorrow! The Royal Botanical Gardens of Edinburgh are a beautiful, emblematic place, it’s a perfect place to immerse yourself in nature, learn about the different plants, or just relax! So join us to discover this beautiful place!
We will meet at 12:20 around the statue in front of Teviot Row House to get the bus together, or you can join us directly at the gardens, at the East Gate, at 13:00!
Hope to see many new and old faces there!

Tomorrow we are hosting our first documentary screening of the year! This will begin at 6 pm in the MacLaren Stuart Room in the Old College building! On the second slide you can see the main entrances of the building as well as the accessible entrance from Chambers St (green arrow)! If you need any help entering the building or finding the room just send us a message here on Instagram!

We guarantee a fun night full of cool nature facts, snacks and great people! We hope to see many of you there!
