This weekend was the Global NLP Summit.
The summit started as an idea Angela Wells had and shared with Nish*th Shah of Thought Labs on a walk they took together in Kerala, India many years ago.
Many people have great ideas, they share them, talk about them, get excited, and then like dreams we have in our sleep, in the morning we awake, the dream fades is often forgotten about.
Angela and Nish*th are unlike ‘many people’. Together they continued to build on the idea and brought it to life with the first summit in Mumbai in November 2019, and I was very fortunate to be there in Mumbai with Sue Knight - NLP at Work, and even more fortunate to be delivering a session with Anna Bell Coaching this year.
Sadly Angela passed away last year, just before the summit. Both last year and this year Nish*th honoured her beautifully in his opening sessions. A question sometimes asked in coaching or development sessions is, "What do you want your legacy to be?" Angela's legacy is impactful, worthwhile and enduring.

So looking forward to this with Anna Bell and in a beautiful venue too.
Our next writing workshop is now available to book!
And I'm excited to share that we have secured Mariposa Studios as a venue. It's a beautiful, creative space with dance studios and a colourful and comfortable lounge upstairs.
Would you like to experience writing as a reflective practice? How about tapping into your creativity? Maybe you already write a journal, short stories, or poetry?
Each workshop is designed as an immersive experience, inviting you to get into your flow in a facilitated, supportive setting.
Pick up a pen and paper and transport yourself to a world of imagination where you can go anywhere you choose. During these uncertain times, you can take a welcome trip to somewhere you love, or write about something completely new. A recent group wrote about their experiences in such vivid sensory detail, it was almost as if they were there... and by the smiles on their faces, they were!
Experience meditations, coaching, and activities to increase the impact and depth of your writing. Learn about yourself and what matters most in your life in a way that you can expect to feel motivated to continue afterwards. Be inspired and supported by the others in the group as you share your experiences and with each other.
Previous participants said they discovered ‘hidden depths’ and ended up writing about things they never imagined at the start. The words seem to keep flowing and there is often a therapeutic effect of expressing whatever comes up.
Writing can bring many benefits including wellbeing, focus, feeling grounded and more connected, and feeling lighter. Many participants feed back that they find their flow with creativity again. With up to a whole day invested in yourself, just imagine how you could be feeling afterwards.
Maximum 8 places to allow us to spend time working closely with everyone, so please get in touch today if you’re interested.

From grumpy to gracious
From fragile to free
From constricted to curious
From moaning to mindful
From tense to tenacious
From stressed to strong
From jaded to joyful
From cynical to colourful
From broken to brimming... with gratitude
These are all major changes in my outlook and wellbeing since I wholeheartedly embraced my personal growth through NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and coaching.
With several thousand thoughts running through our minds every day - not to mention the impact on our bodies - it's no wonder that it can impact our wellbeing... for better or worse.
This Friday from 9.30-11am, Carolyn Murray - Lannair and I will be hosting an event to talk about NLP and wellbeing. It's a regular practice group called NLP Club and we love to welcome people from all over the world, with all levels of experience (or none!)
If any of this resonates with you, why not come along and get involved in the discussion and learning?

The photo below is of Cramond beach just outside Edinburgh. It's somewhere I have often seen beautiful sunsets just like the one here. I love sunsets and the quiet golden glow they often create.
Knowing what sustains rather than drains our energy can really help us to look after ourselves, and at NLP Club on 17 June from 9.30am -11am, we'll be exploring how NLP can support wellbeing.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your experience and knowledge of NLP, and the link to book is in the comments below.
