BOOKSHOP CRAWL 2022📚

We are so excited to be holding our first bookshop crawl of the year! Whether you're starting your Christmas shopping or treating yourself as the semester ends, we'll be heading around five of our favourite bookshops as we explore Edinburgh.

We'll be starting off at our sponsor bookshop -Bring your student ID and confirmation email of your Book Club membership to get discount! We'll then be hopping on a bus into town to explore some of the cities most loved bookshops.

POWERPOINT NIGHT🎉

Passionate about a particular book? Need a ten minute rant about something? PowerPoint Night is on tomorrow for all your presenting needs!

Each person has 10 minutes to discuss their topic and then we'll have a 5 minute debrief. Totally casual and voluntary - this isn't a class project😂

Pop a message if you'd like to present - please note you do have to be a member of Napier Book Club to participate.

QUIZ NIGHT🎉
Tomorrow our Quizmaster extraordinaire, Riley, will be hosting our quiz night! The theme is young adult books, so whether you're clued up on Booktok, or still reminiscing about your teenage faves, pop along to E3 to take part!

NOVEMBER BOOK OF THE MONTH

Our November Book is My Sister, The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite! This book was chosen by our members for the theme of thriller/mystery/crime by a Black author.

We're really excited to read this one!

BOOK CLUB HALLOWEEN SOCIAL👻

We are so excited to have our first night out of the year! Join us at The Banshee Labyrinth - Scotland's most haunted pub -from 6pm on Saturday 22nd for all things spooky! FREE entry, live music and ghost stories await.
Dressing up is highly encouraged, but drinking is optional!

MOVIE NIGHT FUNDRAISER!
We are so excited to be holding our first fundraiser of the year! We will be in B55 7-9pm tonight watching Twilight, as voted by our lovely members!
Tickets for the movie is £2 (or £3 if you're a non member), and this includes snacks! We also have some amazing raffle prizes gifted by our sponsors The Edinburgh Bookshop!

🪱BOOK OF THE MONTH💀
Our Book of the Month for October is Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco!
Voted by our committee and members, this book won by a whopping 29.6% of votes! Kingdom of the Wicked is a dark fantasy filled to the brim with witches, dark magic and a quest for vengeance that will unleash Hell itself.
Our BOTM meeting will be on 27th October, room tbc. Thank you to everyone who voted and we can't wait to get reading!

💫BOOK OF THE MONTH📖

Our Book of the Month for September is The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake! Voted by both members and our committee, The Atlas Six is a dark academic, magical book that is perfect for kicking off the semester.
