One Point Perspective
Inspired by the landscapes of Artist Grant Haffner and night time photos of New York.
The kids took inspiration from the bold use of line and neon colours to create a sense of movement and rhythm in their picture. Fab results so far!

Your Favourite Song
New project this week🫶 The teens chose a song that means something to them and either created the artwork to go with the song or copied the existing. We used the empty sleeves from the 12” vinyls we used in the mandala project for authenticity. Some spray painted over the covers, others worked with the existing cover and some collaged/ painted over the whole thing..

Some clubs were adding colour using one of my fav art materials paint sticks, others glued everything down in last weeks clubs 🌈

✨Next Making Club is on Sunday 12th July ✨
The club takes place once a month on Sunday afternoons from 2-4pm during term time in our studio. Children will have access to our fantastic ChompSaw machines and basic art supplies to make, create and decorate.
These are child-led family sessions (age 6+) where parent/s come along and support their child/ children to take the initiative, direct their own activities and explore based on their natural curiosity.

The kids warmed up by drawing shapes in one point perspective and practiced their shading technique, then moved on to landscapes and street scenes.

Puppet Head Project
Almost finished! We had a whole box of gems and diamanté kits donated recently, so a few of the teens added areas of sparkle to enhance their puppets- really satisfying repetitive process for the teens✨👌
