I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for the closing celebration for St. Paul’s Community Playschool.
It was lovely seeing so many familiar faces - former staff, parents, grandparents, and, of course, the children! It reminded me that St. Paul’s was never just a playschool. It was a little village, a warm place where generations of children took their first steps away from home, made their first friends, and learned how to be in the world.
To all the staff, past and present, who gave their hearts, creativity, and patience over the years.... you have built something truly special. You taught with kindness, wiped away tears (and plenty of noses!), sang the same songs over and over, and somehow always made every child feel like the most important person in the room.
To the families who trusted us with your little ones - thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for letting us be part of your children’s earliest years. As a parent myself, I know how big a leap it is to leave your child with someone else, and we never took that lightly.
It’s hard to close this chapter, but it helps to know how many lives were touched along the way. The stories shared at the celebration are treasures I’ll carry with me always.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, all of you, for being part of this journey. St. Paul’s Community Playschool may be closing its doors, but the love and memories built here will live on in all of us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Georgina Estella
Deputy Manager at St. Paul’s Community Playschool

💔 Saying Goodbye to St. Paul’s Community Playschool 💔
It’s with a very heavy heart that I share the news that St. Paul’s Community Playschool will be closing its doors this summer, after more than 30 years of love, laughter, and learning.
For so many of us, St. Paul’s wasn’t just a playschool, it was a place where little ones took their first brave steps away from home and made their first friends.
I don’t think words can ever fully capture what this place has meant to us, speaking as a staff member myself but also knowing how important this place has been to our families too. I will always treasure the small but mighty moments that shaped our children’s early years. It’s the end of an era!
But before we say our final goodbye, we want to celebrate everything that made St. Paul’s so special.
🎉 Please join us for a Celebration of St. Paul’s Playschool on Sunday 13th July.
All past and present families, staff, and friends are warmly welcome. Let’s come together to share stories, photos, hugs, and maybe a few (or many) tears.
Thank you ❤️
