Late in the academic year we received the fantastic news that one of our Year 8 pupils had been awarded the St Paul’s 13+ Art Scholarship, which is a brand new scholarship this year!

He worked continuously hard on his portfolio & interview, including still working hard when all the other boys had finished exams. This shows testament to all his work, and to our head of Art for the continuous support.

This was the most competitive Art Scholarship yet - over 60 boys applied, and only 7 boys were selected for the interview day. Nishant was one of two boys not already at St Paul’s to be interviewed and he flew the Durston flag! We look forward to following his journey at St Paul's School!

Summer School Week 2 ☀️

Days 3 & 4 of summer school!

What a fantastic week they are all having! Ice cream making, team sports, painting, 11+ preparation, ice lollies and much much more!

We have plenty going on from phonics, to cookie making, to print making & plenty of sports!

Summer School Week 1, Day 1!

What a fantastic start to our summer school! Plenty of football, water play & learning was done! ⚽️☀️📝

The Year 8 pupils put their creativity and AI skills to the test by designing, branding and marketing their very own cryptocurrency. Working in teams, they developed a business plan, created eye-catching logos, and prepared persuasive presentations to pitch their coins to pupils in Years 3–7.

Armed with a pot of pretend cash, the younger pupils became investors, choosing which cryptocurrency to back based on each team’s presentation, branding and business strategy.

After all the votes (and investments!) were counted, Silly Coin emerged as the clear favourite, winning the overall competition.

A huge congratulations to Yusuf, Ivan, Loe, Jaiye and Louis on creating the winning cryptocurrency! Their teamwork, innovation and persuasive marketing made Silly Coin the investors’ top choice.
