Some of our Shooting Stars met Toto this week! He was very well behaved 😂 Just a few weeks left till show time, and it’s nearly time to start getting into costume. Part of our show is performed out side so fingers crossed for the weather!

Our Dancer of the week is Stephanie! ✨

Stephanie only joined Monday night Dance Divas a few months ago but it’s like she’s always been a one of us! Her love of dance and music and the fun and energy she brings to class make her a total dance diva 😎✨ and we are very glad to have her along!

It’s official, SUMMER ZUMBA IS HERE! 🪩☀️

Tonight we danced outdoors in the beautiful Blondin park with the setting sun and a delightful fresh breeze (believe me, this is a joy three songs into a Zumba class iykyk).

We also had a full house so thank you to everyone who came on down, left their day behind and danced like no one was watching (a few birds maybe!).

We had two gorgeous new summer songs and dances and a few old favourites from the back catalogue. Zumba is the ultimate midweek disco dance party mixing Latin and other world music, where no experience is necessary. Just follow along and have fun!

We’ve got lots more space now we are outdoors so bring your friends! There’s never been a better time to get on the dance floor/ gravelled outdoor area (!)

Rehearsals are well under way for our Summer Show the Wicked of Oz! This week the Shooting Stars worked very hard polishing their routine for Saturday’s performance at Little Ealing Primary School! They listened to their cues in the music, worked in groups, remembered props, dance moves and performed with energy and enthusiasm, even when we had to go over tricky parts a few times! Here we are watching our performance back on the iPad. The stars were really supportive of each other and it really helped them self assess how to improve ✨

On what was the hottest day ever known to man, we had a wonderful time at watching Annie!

We loved all the singing and dancing, Annie was an incredible performer, but I think we all loved Sandy the dog the most!

Our dancer of the week is Rashmi! ✨

Rashmi has gone from Zumba beginner to Zumba queen in the blink of an eye. It feels like only yesterday I gave my beginners speech (the music will become familiar, the steps will come back to you, just enjoy being in the room, no one’s watching etc 😂) and now she absolutely owns the dance floor! No one can dance our Bollywood number “Watch Diz” like Rashmi 😎. Rashmi’s three gorgeous children are part of our Shooting Stars group (and Aunt Patty also come to Zumba!) ✨
