I Can’t believe this lovely French cello is still looking for its new home!
At £12,500, it’s definitely an investment — but for a cello of this quality, it’s fantastic, you’d pay much more further east of South Wales!
Made in Château-Thierry, France, this instrument carries the Barzoni name, used exclusively by Beare & Son of London between 1880 and 1920 for their top-quality imports. It has a gorgeous, rich tone and plays beautifully.

I would very much appreciate if all my customers and friends would spend just a few minutes to sign the petition in the link below.
I studied at the Newark school of violin making 24 years ago and owe it a debt of gratitude to have started me career in Lutherie. It's a very special age old trade that is much needed for our future.
Please share so we can get as many signatures as possible.

It's finally live with a fresh new look and in particular, the sales section now has photos!
I'm honoured to have been asked to deal with the sale of a collection of fine violin bows owned by the late Barry Haskey; past associate leader with the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra.
Barry was an avid collector and lover of bows, the pieces are in wonderful condition.
Take a look and let me know what you think! Please share the post, your support means the world to me.
