Dear Families,

We wanted to share an update with you following today’s confirmation from the heating engineers.

We have now been advised that the engineers will be attending **tomorrow morning** to carry out the repair to the heating system. As soon as the heating is fully working and the building has reached a safe temperature, we will open immediately and will message you straight away to let you know.

At this stage, we can’t guarantee that we will be open by 9:00am, but we are truly hoping and praying that the repair can be completed as early and as quickly as possible.

We want to say, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your incredible patience, understanding, and kindness throughout what we know has been an incredibly disruptive and stressful time for you and your families. We are so aware of the impact this situation has had, and we are deeply grateful for the support and compassion you have shown us while we have worked towards a resolution.

We will be in touch as soon as we have positive news to share tomorrow.

Dear Families,

We are so sorry to share that, despite holding on to every hope today, the heating company has still not been able to confirm that they have received the required part to carry out the repair.

We waited as long as we possibly could today in the hope that it might still be resolved, but at this point we have had no confirmation. The school is continuing to chase the heating engineers urgently, and we truly hope and pray that this will be resolved tomorrow.

Please know that we are under no illusion about just how disruptive and impactful this situation is for you and your families. We understand the worry, inconvenience, and stress this ongoing uncertainty causes, and we are deeply sorry that we are unable to provide clearer answers at this time. We are doing absolutely everything within our control to reach a resolution as quickly as possible.

We will update you tomorrow and sincerely hope to be able to share positive news then.

Dear Families,

We are so sorry to share that, unfortunately, the part required to repair our heating system has still not arrived. The school is urgently chasing the engineers again in the hope that this can be resolved as quickly as possible.

We have also double-checked guidance with CIW, who have confirmed that the room temperature must be a minimum of 18°C. At present, the temperature in the building remains around 12°C, which means it is not safe or appropriate for us to open.

We are extremely upset and anxious about the impact this continued closure is having on our children and families, and we completely understand how difficult and disruptive this situation is for you. Please know that this decision has not been taken lightly and is solely to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone.

We are truly hoping for better news tomorrow and are doing everything we can to get this resolved as a matter of urgency. However, as the heating is still not fixed, we have no option but to remain closed for now.

We will update you as soon as we have any further information and thank you wholeheartedly for your patience and understanding during this very frustrating time.

Dear Families,

We are so sorry to share a further update regarding the heating repair.

Unfortunately, the replacement part required to fix the heating system has still not arrived. Based on the latest information we have received, it is now most likely that we will not be able to reopen until Tuesday at the earliest.

We completely understand how upsetting, frustrating, and difficult this prolonged closure is for families, and we are truly sorry for the continued disruption and uncertainty it has caused. This situation is incredibly upsetting for us too, and we share your disappointment that it has taken so long to resolve.

Please be assured that we remain in close contact with the engineers and will notify you immediately as soon as the part arrives and a confirmed repair date is in place.

Dear Families,

We are writing to you with sincere apologies to let you know that, despite all efforts this morning, we have unfortunately been unable to source a safe alternative heating solution for the setting.

After exploring every possible temporary option, we have been advised that none are suitable or safe for use within the nursery environment. As difficult as this decision is, the safety and wellbeing of the children must always come first, and as a result we have no option but to remain closed until the heating system has been fully repaired.

The engineer has confirmed that a replacement part has been ordered, and we are hoping this will be resolved within the next couple of days. As soon as we are advised that the part is ready and a repair date is confirmed, we will notify you immediately, however, until this time we will unfortunately have to remain closed.

We fully understand how upsetting, frustrating, and disruptive this continued closure is for families, especially given the uncertainty and repeated issues, and we are truly sorry for the impact this is having. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to resolve the situation as quickly as we can and will continue to keep you updated at every stage.

Dear Families,

Good morning. We wanted to update you as soon as possible following this morning’s checks.

Unfortunately, after careful consideration, the blow heaters were not a viable option as they posed a potential fire risk. As always, the safety of the children is our absolute priority, so we could not proceed with their use.

We are currently attempting to source oil-filled heaters this morning as a safer temporary measure. If we are able to obtain them and they are suitable for use, we will open as soon as they are delivered and safely in place.

If we are unable to secure appropriate heaters, we will update you as soon as possible today to confirm next steps.

We are so very sorry for the continued disruption and uncertainty this is causing and truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support while we work hard to resolve this situation.

Dear Families,

We’ve had a further update regarding the heating and unfortunately it is still not repaired, as we are waiting for a required part to arrive before the work can be completed.

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to get this resolved as quickly as possible. The school will be chasing the engineers first thing tomorrow, and we are pushing for an urgent solution.

We are very aware of the tremendous impact this situation is having on our children and families, and we are so sorry for the ongoing disruption this is causing.

The difficulty remains the wait for the part needed to complete the repair, but we will update you as soon as we have any further information tomorrow.

Dear Families,

We have been advised that the part needed to repair the heating is expected to arrive either tomorrow or Friday.

If the part arrives tomorrow, the repair will take place and we will be open on Friday as normal.
If the part does not arrive tomorrow, unfortunately this will mean we will remain closed for the rest of the week.
