We are Hiring - Level 3 Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our friendly team.

If you are passionate about helping young children learn through play and want to work in a warm friendly environment, we'd love to hear from you!

We require a Welsh speaker or keen learner

This is a temporary post offering 27 hours per week. There may be opportunity to expand your contract at the end of your term.

We are open 8 - 6 and you would be working shift patterns between these hours

☀️ Sunny Days at Blodau Bach! ☀️

What a beautiful, warm week we’ve been having! We have been making the most of the sunshine and enjoying plenty of outdoor play.

The children have been doing a fantastic job of staying sun safe—we’ve been busy popping on our sun hats and making sure everyone is covered in suncream before heading out to play! 🧢🧴

We use the SunSmart app to keep an eye on the UV levels for our area to make sure the children stay protected. It’s a great tool to have, as suncream is recommended whenever the UV level is 3 or above, even if it’s not that hot!

What a fantastic day we’ve had celebrating St David’s Day! Our little ones truly brought the spirit of Wales to life today, and the nursery was a sea of red, green, and yellow.

A huge thank you to all the parents for helping the children dress up and making the day so memorable. We’ve had a wonderful time celebrating our heritage and community.

Yesterday was our very first birthday! We are officially one year old!
It has been an incredible journey at Cylch Meithrin Blodau Bach, and we want to say a massive thank you to our hardworking staff, our supportive parents, and—most importantly—our wonderful children. 🌟
Whether you are still here playing with us every day or have already blossomed and moved on to "Big School," you will always be part of the Blodau Bach family. Here’s to many more years of fun, friendship, and learning through Welsh!

🧧 Blwyddyn Newydd Tsieineaidd ym Mlodau Bach! 🏮

Cawsom amser hyfryd yr wythnos diwethaf yn dathlu Blwyddyn y Geffyl! 🐎 Roedd hi’n wythnos yn llawn lliw, creadigrwydd, a dwylo bach prysur iawn.

Dyma gipolwg ar beth wnaeth y rhai bach:

Blas ar Tsieina: Aeth ein blagur blas ar antur go iawn! Uchafbwynt yr wythnos yn bendant oedd bod yn gogyddion bach a gwneud ein rholiau gwanwyn cartref ein hunain. Roedd hi’n hyfryd gweld y plant yn archwilio blasau a gweadau newydd gyda’i gilydd yn ystod ein gwledd ddathlu. 😋

Llusernau Hardd: Treulion ni amser yn creu ein llusernau traddodiadol ein hunain, sy’n edrych yn hyfryd ac wedi ein helpu i ymarfer ein sgiliau echddygol manwl.

Hwyl Gwisgo i Fyny: Roedd gennym ychydig o ddarnau gwisgo i fyny lliwgar i’r plant eu harchwilio, gan ychwanegu ychydig o goch ac aur at ein chwarae!

Roedd yn ffordd hyfryd o ddysgu am y byd trwy goginio a chreu. Da iawn i bob un o’n "Blodau Bach" am fod mor ddewr a rhoi cynnig ar bethau newydd!

🧧 Chinese New Year at Blodau Bach! 🏮

We had a wonderful time last week celebrating the Year of the Horse! 🐎 It was a week full of colour, creativity, and some very busy little hands.

Here is what our little ones got up to:

A Taste of China: Our taste buds went on a real adventure! The highlight was definitely being little chefs and making our very own homemade spring rolls. It was wonderful to see the children exploring new flavours and textures together during our celebration feast. 😋

Beautiful Lanterns: We spent time crafting our own traditional lanterns, which looked absolutely lovely and helped us practice our fine motor skills.

Dress-Up Fun: We had some festive bits and pieces for the children to explore, adding a lovely touch of red and gold to our play!

It was such a sweet way to learn about the world through cooking and creating. A big well done to all our "Blodau Bach" for being so brave and trying new things!
