✨ Exciting news & an opportunity to get involved! ✨
Hi everyone 😊
We wanted to share something really exciting about the next step in our journey. Over the past few years, we’ve built something really special together, and now we’re taking things forward by setting up an official charity to support and grow our work with children and families ❤️
This will help us to:
🌱 Create more opportunities for children
🎨 Develop our play provision even further
👨‍👩‍👧 Support families in our community
🌍 Continue and expand projects like our Transylvania play work
As part of this, we’re looking to bring together a small group of trustees to help guide the charity as it grows. This is a voluntary role, focused on supporting the bigger picture and future direction—no day-to-day involvement needed.
If you feel this might be something you’d be interested in, or you’re just curious to find out more, please feel free to send us an email on [email protected]
There’s absolutely no pressure at all, we just wanted to open up the opportunity as it’s such a positive step for the children, families, and community we care about 💛

The children have had a fantastic week at Clwb y Ddraig — exploring, creating and learning through the magic of play as we celebrated International Day of Play. They’ve been busy kicking footballs outdoors, teaming up to build their very own campfire, and diving hands‑first into wonderfully messy cloud dough.
Our sensory bottles sparked curiosity and discovery, while games with friends helped build teamwork and social skills. Dressing up brought out big imaginations, and junk modelling turned everyday bits and bobs into brilliant, one‑of‑a‑kind creations.
What a week — full of fun, laughter and endless creativity.

Mae’r plant wedi cael wythnos ffantastig yn Clwb y Ddraig — yn archwilio, creu a dysgu drwy hud chwarae wrth ddathlu Diwrnod Rhyngwladol Chwarae. Maen nhw wedi bod yn brysur yn chwarae pêl-droed tu allan, yn gweithio gyda’i gilydd i adeiladu tân gwersyll, ac yn plymio’n syth i mewn i glud cwmwl blêr a hwyliog.
Anogodd ein poteli synhwyraidd chwilfrydedd ac archwilio, tra bod gemau gyda ffrindiau wedi helpu datblygu sgiliau tîm a chymdeithasol. Daeth gwisgo lan â dychymyg mawr, ac fe drodd modelu sbwriel bob dydd yn greadigaethau unigryw a bendigedig.
Wythnos llawn hwyl, chwerthin a chreadigrwydd diddiwedd.

To mark International Day of Play, we are handing the reins over to the children. They will be leading their own play, shaping the environment, and making decisions about how their session unfolds.

This approach reflects UNCRC Article 31, which protects every child’s right to play and participate in cultural and recreational activities. By giving children ownership of their play, we recognise their agency and support their wellbeing, confidence, and creativity.

Proud to celebrate children’s rights today and every day.

This week was SO much fun! We had sunshine, water fights, hot chocolate, and we toasted marshmallows that went all melty. We planted sunflower seeds with muddy hands and it made us smile loads. Best week ever!

Roedd yr wythnos hon YN HWYL! Cawsom heulwen, brwydrau dŵr, siocled poeth, a masmaliw blasus yn toddi. Fe blannon ni hadau blodyn yr haul gyda dwylo llanast ac roedd pawb yn gwenu. Wythnos gorau erioed!

This week was packed with fun, teamwork and outdoor adventures! The children enjoyed bug hunting, playing football, making delicious fruit kebabs, and planting sunflower seeds in the sunshine. They also worked together to create their own club rules, helping everyone feel included, safe and respected while having lots of fun.

Roedd yr wythnos hon yn llawn hwyl, gwaith tîm ac anturiaethau yn yr awyr agored! Mwynhaodd y plant hela pryfed, chwarae pêl-droed, gwneud kebabs ffrwythau blasus a phlannu hadau blodyn yr haul yn yr heulwen. Gweithiodd pawb gyda’i gilydd i greu eu rheolau clwb eu hunain hefyd, gan sicrhau bod pawb yn teimlo’n gynhwysol, yn ddiogel ac yn cael llawer o hwyl.

A week full of creativity and adventure — crafting masterpieces, outdoor fun, squishy cloud dough play, and plenty of dressing‑up magic. Last week Michelle didn’t get to press upload, so here’s a look back at all the fun we had!

Wythnos lawn o greadigrwydd ac antur — creu campweithiau, hwyl yn yr awyr agored, chwarae gyda toes cwmwl meddal a digon o hud gwisgo‑lan. Gan nad oedd Michelle wedi llwyddo i wasgu “upload” yr wythnos ddiwethaf, dyma gipolwg ar yr holl hwyl a gafodd pawb!
