Our GCSE Art Practical course is a comprehensive package, designed for students preparing for assessment – providing the skills, guidance, and creative support they need to achieve their full potential.

The rise in the number of children being educated outside of school should prompt an important conversation, but it’s vital that we listen to why families are making these decisions.

At Crossroads Educational Consultants, we work with many home educating families, children experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), and neurodiverse young people. In our experience, the overwhelming majority of parents are not choosing this path lightly. They are choosing it because they are trying to meet the needs of a child who has struggled to thrive in a traditional school environment.

Home education is not the problem. For many children, it is the solution.

That said, we do share concerns that every child deserves access to a high-quality education, opportunities to socialise, recognised qualifications, and support that prepares them for adult life. Families should never feel isolated or unsupported in achieving this.

Rather than viewing the increase in home education as a crisis, we believe it should be seen as an opportunity to create more flexible, child-centred pathways that recognise that one size does not fit all.

Every child deserves to feel safe, valued and able to learn in an environment where they can succeed.

At Crossroads, we remain committed to supporting families across Wales with personalised education programmes, qualifications, and pathways that help young people flourish on their own terms.
