🤩We’re looking for self-employed freelance outdoor leaders to join the Wild Blossom Team!

Must have:

🌳Relevant Level 3 outdoor/play qualification(s) such as Forest School, Bushcraft, Playwork, Well-being in Nature

🐿️ Experience of working with outside with children/families

🌲Enhanced DBS (or be willing to get one)

⛑️Current FS/Outdoor First Aid qualification

🚙Own transport - work in the Cardiff, Caerphilly and Vale of Glamorgan areas

🪵Paid as session/day rate, week days and weekend work available

We had a creative invitation to notice the signs of spring in the Wild Blossom Wood this week. It was taken up by lots of children and their adults.

We believe in process over product, allowing all participants, including very young children, to explore using different materials and processes without judgement or expectation of the end result. It was wonderful to have Alys, one of our volunteers who is a fine art graduate, to support our home ed group and model how to use watercolour paints.

A fabulous half term Family session in the woods today! We were joined by Mark from .cic who helped us get an insight into the fascinating magical musical world of plants! 🎶🌱🌳🍃

There was also the usual exploring, swinging, crafting, playing, creating in the mud kitchen, tool use, fire lighting and swamp splashing. And of course there was time to gather around the fire for hot chocolate, popcorn and snacks to keep our energy levels up! 🔥☕️🍿🍞
