Compromised Running ππ¦΅

Want to get better at your sport?
You might need to do LESS of itβ¦ π
Most people assume the answer is simple:
Run more.
Ride more.
Play more.
But some of the biggest performance gains come from the things you do outside your primary sport.
In our latest blog, we cover:
π Why runners should cycle and strength train
π΄ How cyclists can benefit from lifting weights
ποΈ Why HYROX athletes need more than just HYROX training
𦴠Tissue tolerance and injury resilience
β€οΈ Heart health and aerobic development
π¬ The science behind cross-training
Sometimes the thing that improves your sport the mostβ¦
isnβt your sport at all.

Endure24 Reading
24 hours. 5 teammates. One unforgettable challenge.
What started with relentless rain, strong winds and muddy trails turned into pitch-black laps through the early hours, before finally welcoming us with a sunrise and calmer skies.
Over the course of 24 hours, we took on loop after loop, sharing the workload, supporting each other through the tough moments, and making memories that will last far longer than the sore legs.
A huge thank you toHIGH5 Sports Nutrition for keeping us fuelled and hydrated throughout the weekend, and to the Endure24 team, volunteers and supporters for delivering such an incredible event despite the conditions.
From battling the storm to chasing the sunrise, this is what endurance sport is all about: teamwork, resilience and achieving more together than we ever could alone.
Until next time. ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππ»ββοΈ

Not every run should feel the same π
Easy runs.
Tempo runs.
Threshold work.
Hill reps.
Trail runs.
Treadmill sessions.
They all have a purpose, and understanding the difference can completely change how you train.
If youβve ever wondered:
Whatβs a tempo run?
How hard should recovery runs feel?
Is treadmill running as good as outdoor running?
Why does trail running feel so different?
β¦weβve covered it in our latest blog.
