In Nursery over the last few weeks, we have been planting our vegetables, including potatoes and beetroot.

The children will watch them grow, nurture them and when ready, taste them.
All of this enhances their understanding of where food comes from.

We also took time to celebrate David Attenborough's 100th birthday with different animal themed resources inside and in our forest garden with our 'Walking through the Jungle' hunt!

We spoke in our groups about who David is and sang Happy Birthday to him.
