We are pleased to announce that Ofsted rated us as GOOD after our latest inspection

We are a friendly, welcoming pre-school that offers young children all the opportunities they need to play, learn and develop in a caring and safe environment and are pleased to announce that Ofsed has rated us GOOD on both sites. We have been supporting the Biggleswade community for over 35 years and continue to maintain the highest standards in children's education. We are committed to providing

quality learning experiences and care to children from all backgrounds, including children with specific Educational Needs. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)which means that we help children to learn and develop in the 3 prime areas:

Communication and Language
Physical Development
Personal, social and emotional development

And 4 specific areas:

literacy
mathmatics
understanding the world
expressive arts and design

The Preschool offers either session based or all day Pre-School education from 2 years (subject to spaces being available). We're open every day during term time between 9am and 3.15pm and you can choose either morning or afternoon sessions or link the two to make up a full day. We also offer a breakfast club between 7.30am and 9am and an after school club between 3.30pm and 6pm. On what felt like one of the hottest days of this summer, the children had a fun time cooling off with exciting water balloon fights, lots of outdoor water play, and plenty of splashing fun in our paddling pools. The laughter and smiles could be heard all around as everyone enjoyed the sunshine safely and made the most of the warm weather.
Throughout the day, we ensured that all children stayed well hydrated with plenty of fresh, cool drinking water readily available and as a special treat, they also enjoyed a refreshing ice lolly, which went down a treat!
It was great to see the children having so much fun, making memories with friends, and enjoying a day full of summer excitement. We hope they come home with lots of happy stories to share!

This morning, the children had a fantastic time with Football Fun Factory!
They thoroughly enjoyed testing their football skills by aiming at a giant inflatable dartboard and worked collaboratively as a team to successfully hit all of their target numbers.
It was wonderful to see their teamwork, communication, determination, and encouragement of one another as they took on the challenge together. Well done, everyone!

What a fun-filled day at Holiday Club! The children had a fantastic time using trigger bottles filled with water to test their aim, squirting at upside-down cups with balls balanced on top. There was lots of laughter, teamwork, and excitement as they tried to knock the balls off their targets. Well done to everyone for giving it a go!

We were delighted to welcome Safari Stu to our setting today for a fascinating animal encounter experience. The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting a variety of animals, including Diego the Panther Chameleon, a Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, a Giant Spiny Stick Insect, and a Python. The session was both educational and fun, giving the children the opportunity to learn about different species, their habitats, and how they are cared for. Many of the children showed great curiosity and confidence as they observed and interacted with the animals up close. It was a wonderful experience that sparked lots of discussion, excitement, and learning throughout.

The children had an absolutely fantastic time at Holiday Club today during our exciting water balloon fight! Laughter filled the air as children of all ages joined in the fun, dodging balloons, making new friends, and cooling off in the sunshine. From the youngest participants to the oldest, everyone got involved and enjoyed the friendly challenge, creating lots of happy memories along the way. The activity was such a huge success that the children have already been asking to do it again, so we're delighted to announce that we'll be repeating the water balloon fight next week for even more splash-filled fun!

We were delighted to welcome BabyBallers Bedford to Rainbow Holiday Club for an exciting football fun session! The children had a fantastic time developing their football skills, building confidence, staying active, and most importantly, having lots of fun with their friends. The session was enjoyed by all ages, with activities carefully adapted to suit every child, from our youngest participants to our older children. At Rainbow, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of engaging experiences that keep children entertained, active, and smiling throughout the holidays.

What an exciting morning we've had at Holiday Club creating and launching our very own balloon rockets! The children loved becoming mini scientists as they designed, tested, and raced their rockets across the room using nothing but air power. There were lots of giggles, cheers, and friendly competition as they predicted which rocket would travel the fastest and then watched them zoom into action.
