Today, we said a very fond and emotional farewell to our incredible Year 6 leavers.

Some of these wonderful children have been part of our school family since they were just 2 years old!

They have been on an absolutely incredible journey with us and they wrapped up their final days filled with celebrations, autograph-hunting, plenty of tears, and endless smiles.

We are so incredibly proud of the people they have become. As they step into the next chapter of their learning journey, we wish them all the luck, love, and success in the world.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Stanley and Luna have been nominated as our Head Pupils for the 2025/26 academic year!

Both Stanley and Luna consistently embody our school virtues and are always at the heart of our wider school community, stepping up, getting involved, and leading by example.

We'd like to wish them the very best of luck, we know they're going to go on and achieve amazing things.

Bobby has been working incredibly hard fundraising for the Bobby Moore Fund to support Cancer Research UK in the fight against bowel cancer, and his efforts are making serious waves.

With an ultimate goal of £1,000, Bobby has already raised over £700! His dedication has caught some major attention too.
This weekend, he made the pages of the Biggleswade Chronicle and he was even featured on the official Cancer Research Charity socials!

We are incredibly proud of you, Bobby. You are so close to hitting that milestone, and we know you can get there. Let’s help him smash through the finish line and reach that £1,000 goal!

Yesterday, our youngest athletes took to the field for our Reception and KS1 Sports Days!

A massive well done to every single child who took part. The determination and team spirit on display was fantastic.

A special shout out and thank you to our brilliant Year 6 Sports Leaders, who did an incredible job running the events and supporting the younger pupils. You were fantastic role models!

Thank you also to all the families who came along to cheer everyone on. The atmosphere was brilliant.

Looking ahead to next week, we are due to host our KS2 Sports Days.
We're keeping a very close eye on the weather forecast and will update you all early next week if any plans need to change.

Recently, our UKS2 students took part in a vital Hate Crime assembly led by Sergeant Phil from the Bedfordshire Constabulary.

The children learned about what constitutes a hate crime, how to safely report it, and why it is completely unacceptable in our communities.
We were so proud of Year 5 and 6 for their active involvement and the mature, thoughtful questions they asked.

To put their learning into action, the children entered a competition to design a poster that will be shared across schools in Central Bedfordshire!

To wrap up the session, they even got the chance to try on some real police gear! A huge thank you to Sergeant Phil and his team for his time and for helping our students understand how to keep our community safe and inclusive.

Our Year 5 campers had an awesome night on our school field!

The evening was packed with fun as the children enjoyed a delicious chip supper, worked together to pitch their tents, spent quality time playing with friends and tucked into popcorn and ice lollies. There was even time for some to watch a bit of the World Cup and apply face masks.

They then ‘slept’ under the stars…*

A fantastic evening full of laughter, teamwork and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all of the staff who gave up their time and made this special experience possible for our children.
