Belle’s Charity Hair Donation – Thursday 23rd April

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to share that one of our pupils, Belle, will be donating 30cm of her hair to The Little Princess Trust during a Key Stage 2 assembly on Thursday 23rd April at 3:00pm.

This is a wonderful act of kindness supporting children who have lost their hair due to being extremely poorly. If you would like to support Belle’s fundraising, you can visit her JustGiving page using the QR code on the attached poster.

8 children from Year 5 & 6 took part in the East Beds School Sports Partnership Athletics event. They all enjoyed their morning, taking part in various events - long jump, vertical jump, chest push, speed bounce and relay races.
The children came third overall in the event, so a huge well done to them all.

Year 5 had the opportunity to go and watch Act 1 of the dress rehearsal of 'The Addams Family at Stratton Upper School. The children had a great afternoon watching the children from Stratton perform.

Thank you to Stratton for inviting us. We wish them all the best for their performances, which are from this Thursday 5th Feb to Saturday 7th Feb, if anyone would like to go along and watch it.

We would just like to thank Stratton Upper School for hosting all our KS2 classes on Monday and today for their Christmas concerts. The children enjoyed performing on a large stage and to a large audience, which would not have been possible at Lawnside. Thank you!!!!!!
