Please fill in this survey for all the families who struggle with work and childcare costs

Tomorrow, there will be an announcement from the Government on childcare that will make your heart sink. I’m not allowed to tell you what it is, but i can recommend having a punch bag at the ready. I’m begging you not to feel deflated. That’s what they want. They want us to give up. We’ve made so much noise together that they’ve been forced to take action, and they will present that action as if it’s a game changer. It isn’t. That is why we need you now more than ever. They expect this will shut us up, that it will keep our frothing angry jaws at bay so they can carry on ignoring us. Now is the time for us to ramp up our campaigning. There is hope, I promise you, there’s hope - but to ensure we can continue this fight we need your data - please, please if you haven’t already, I am literally begging you to fill in our survey on summer childcare. 7,000 of you have already done so, but we need double this if we are to plonk this on the table of number 10. Do it right now and please share with everyone you have ever met.
This won’t be the last thing I ask you to do, I hope you’re ready to take on this fight with us ❤️

Have you had a baby? Has someone you love had a baby? Were you a baby once? Perhaps you'd like a baby in the future? Do you catch babies? Do you care for pregnant people or educate them? Is your neighbour or friends having a baby?

ALL of us are touched by maternity care - and right now, those who provide it are at the end of their tethers.

A grassroots movement has been created to support them. Come join us at March With Midwives on facebook. It's an invitation only group but if you can see this you are my facebook friend, so just comment below or ping me a message and I'll add you.

Now is the time to demand action to save maternity services, because what hurts midwives, hurts families.

Great advice and opportunity to hire a coat for the winter ❄️

🤔 Confused by winter carrying
and what to wear? 🤔

✅ Light indoor layers under the carrier for you and baby
✅ Oversized giant cardi, hoodie or babywearing coat to go over the two of you
✅ Alternative options ZipIn panel or Bundlebean cover
✅ Extremities covered (hat and booties or our fab babywearing socks!)
✅ If you come indoors or get hot remove the top layer altogether without disturbing baby.
⚠️ Bulky, padded clothes aren't suitable under the sling or carrier as babies can overheat easily and the carrier ends up holding the clothes rather than the baby who may slip down inside.
