“Communication is key,”

An English conversation course helps you to be yourself and to feel as confident and to express yourself in English as you would in your own language. To feel confident to talk to anyone about anything, anytime. Often when we must speak a foreign language, we feel less prepared and shy and so do not venture into normal conversation. Or we hide behind someone else who feels more confident. But, if you learn how, you can communicate and speak English even with just a few words. Learn to listen, ask questions, pay attention, and be yourself in both informal and formal situations.

Feeling relaxed and confident is an essential element to the art of communication. You will be given you the skills to help you feel comfortable enough tell a story or discuss, just like you do in your own language.

The Active Language conversation teams are designed as topic-based forums in which from six to ten participants can practice and perfect English fluency and fluidity through the exploration of practical themes directly related to many interests of their daily lives.

Lessons are based around tasks, activities, debate, role-play and discussions on current events, global news stories, sector news, and other areas of interest. Joining a Conversation team with The Active Language and stay motivated with an affordable alternative to private classes. With plenty of
room to continue practicing your new language.

As a language student, there is nothing more rewarding than holding your first conversation in a foreign language. Whether you want to learn English for beginners or any other chosen language: our unique approach to teaching language means you will be engaged from your very first lesson and speak your new language much sooner than you think!

Group language classes allow you to learn, interact, and socialize in a supportive environment. Whether you are looking for group English courses or are interested in other language classes: small groups at our language centre offer in-person interaction with your instructor and classmates, so you can start having conversations from day one.

Stay motivated with regular group classes.

Joining a Beginner group with The Active Language class can help you stay motivated and offer an affordable alternative to private classes. With plenty of room to practice your new language, our group classes also offer quick and continuous progress in your learning.
On the beginners' team, there is focus on basic communication, so you can do yourself in everyday life in Spain. Among other things, you will learn to introduce yourself, to form coherent sentences and to initiate a conversation. We stage different situations that prepare you for the real world. You'll be introduced to the basic grammar without getting too heavy. The most important thing is that you get started talking. Therefore, particular attention is paid to understanding the structure and use of the language, as well as the certainty of using an elementary vocabulary. Along the way, you will also get an insight into the English culture.
