So grateful to be able to bring so many incredible educators to our dancers this summer. We’ve already had the opportunity to learn from some amazing instructors, and we can’t wait to welcome even more talented guests this week and over the next few months, alongside our incredible Studio 22 staff.

Jade Joan. August 21.

Jade is a multidisciplinary movement artist, choreographer & educator, working across film/television & live performance. With credits that include Wicked, Schitt’s Creek, Ginny & Georgia, Su***de Squad, and work with Tate McRae, Ariana Grande, FKA twigs, and Nick Jonas, this is a class you won’t want to miss! Her choreographic work is a fusion of contemporary dance elements, groove, musicality and raw expression.

We are so excited for the opportunity to learn from such an inspiring and accomplished industry professional.

Thank you to these two incredible women and the entire faculty for such an informative and inspiring few days. It was so refreshing and validating to be surrounded by other entrepreneurs who truly understand the challenges of this very niche and often misunderstood career of dance studio ownership.

Club has always been a huge inspiration to me because of the talent they produce, but I left even more impressed by the resilient, strong, and passionate women behind the business. I’m heading home with pages of notes, fresh ideas, and a renewed confidence in what I already do.

Thank you, Kelli, for being so open, honest, humble, and generous with your knowledge. The dance world is better because of leaders who choose to lift others up instead of guarding what they know. These three superstars have been working hard behind the scenes all year to prepare for the 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗖𝗨𝗣® in Ireland. 🇨🇦

They were selected to represent Canada in multiple routines, and we could not be more proud to have them representing both our country and Studio 22 on the world stage!

This moment🤍

Somewhere backstage your children are waiting in the wings, holding a thousand thoughts, the steps they’ve practiced over and over, the excitement, the nerves, the determination to do their best.

They stand shoulder to shoulder with their friends, costumes on, hearts racing.

Then their moment arrives. They take a breath, find their courage and step onto the stage.

In that space between backstage and the stage lights, we see young dancers choosing bravery, we see confidence being built, resilience growing and all the hard work of weeks and months coming together.

While you watch the performance unfold, just before they appeared under those lights, there’s a beautiful moment of quiet determination backstage and it’s a privilege to witness it every time.
