Please help us raise funds to improve our centre with upgrades for example we want to build a fence for the older children to play outside. We also would like to fix our driveway and get new toys for both centres. We are currently running a bottle drive, a Purdys’s fundraiser ending the end of March, Mom’s Pantry (3 months) and Mabel’s Labels (3 months) soon we will be running epicure: please contact Mandy via email: [email protected] for more info.

We have accomplished one Hatch from the hatching Program we were doing. We will find out Thursday if our other hatches were successful. This one ended up home with us because we were away from the centre so me and my children brought this one home. My daughter has named it Lex (if a male) and Lexi (if female). Welcome to the world born November 10,2020 at 5:40ish pm.
We are looking to hire an energetic individual who loves to work with kids aged 5-12. This person must love to play and plan activities for the kids daily.
Start Date: September 3, 2019
Wage: Negotiable based on experience
Qualifications:
- Min 4 years’ experience working in childcare programming
- Must be at least 19
- Currently hold, or willing to get a Class 4 driver’s license
- Childcare First Aid and CPR level “C”
- Criminal record check
- Training certification in one of the following areas School Aged Care, Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant, Supported Childcare Development
Staffing:
- Second point of contact for staff conflict resolution after Program Managers
- Oversee Program Managers, and report to the Parent Board when necessary
- Will be involved or advised of child guiding/disciplinary issues
- In an emergency, may be required to be included in staff ratio
- Organize or delegate fundraising opportunities as required
- Attend monthly staff meetings as organized by program manager
- Attend yearly parent AGM
Administration:
- Complete Affordable Child Care Funding Benefits (ACCB) Provider Reports, funding requests along with competition of monthly Child Care Operational Funding Reports (CCOF, CCFRI) and ECE Wage Enhancement reports
- Complete bookkeeping and monthly financial reports in conjunction with Society accountant
- Prepare and submit funding applications and reporting for Canada Summer Jobs, BC Gaming and any other funding available
- Liaison with QA Consultant and Administrator (funding)
- Complete annual insurance renewals
- Manage benefits program
- Work with lawyer to update contracts, policies or legal issues
- Complete payroll
- Banking contact, CAFT (Pre-Authorized Debit) contact
- Oversee program budgets provided by Program Managers
- General financial duties
