Back to School, Back to Music

As summer winds down and families settle back into their school routines, it can be a wonderful time to begin something new—or return to something your child has been asking about.

Sage Piano Studio in Sooke is welcoming new students this fall.
I offer one-on-one piano lessons for children, teens, and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate students.

With 32 years of teaching experience, my goal is about more than simply learning songs. I want students to understand the language of music, develop confidence in their playing, learn how to problem-solve when they practise, and most importantly, discover a love of music that can stay with them for a lifetime.

Every student is different, so I choose teaching materials and repertoire to suit the individual student and their age.
And when a child joins my studio, we become a team—teacher, student, and parent. Good communication and encouragement at home are an important part of the journey.
If your child has been saying, “I want to learn piano,” perhaps this is the year to give them that opportunity. ❤️
