As an aging GenXer it really warmed my heart when this years group of kids said they wanted to play one of my favourite Pixies songs. It gives me hope for the future. Thanks to Peter and the crew at Sooke Music Festival for always making us feel welcome and Ashley and Barb EMCS Society Programs for supporting this project. The kids are alright. šŸ¤˜šŸ½

The kids wanted to add another song to their set, and our string players wanted to try out guitar for the first time. This is a fun pop-punk tune originally by The Vaselines and covered by Nirvana on their John Peel session.
