I have a Full time space available in St. Catharines, for Mon-Fri my current hours are 7:30am - 5:00pm (** However I can accommodate early starts as well as later pick ups ) My daily rate is $50/day.
I provide nurturing childcare as a qualified Child & Youth Worker, Nanny twice, & mother of a young adult. I also have Daycare Centre experience as well as Early Childhood Development courses. I have successfully run my own home Daycare for the past 21 years & in past have had families with me for 8yrs/6yrs/4yrs.etc. (thru multiple births as well as providing in past before & after school care as well)
Healthy meals & snacks are provided, I have experience working with children with food allergies & can accommodate them.
Crafts & educational activities/games to enhance your child's growth & learning, story & song-time. Workbooks & additional activities for pre-school aged children. Also, a program specifically designed to further promote positive character development, positive peer relations & boost self-esteem.
Clean, tidy, large bright 430 sq. ft. upstairs child friendly environment completely separate from personal living space with large welcoming fenced in back-yard. First Aid, CPR, criminal check & references available.
Also unlike many other home daycare providers I did not decide to open & run a daycare because my maternity leave was going to end or because I saw a recent poster at the mall or somewhere advertising for everyday people to do so. I opened my own home daycare after many years of already working with children in a variety of positions & truly loved what I was doing. I also don't do part-time, casuals or drop ins, I feel it is disruptive to our regular routine. My commitment to safety includes ensuring I am trained in child development & safety procedures. I implement robust health and hygiene practices throughout my home & daycare space. I also a have a childproof play area to ensure a safe environment for all children.

My program focuses on the whole child & is designed to nurture all areas of development together, based on creativity and choices.
I believe young children learn best in a comfortable and secure environment where they are free to make choices and communicate their needs.

Children are encouraged to demonstrate creativity in all that they do. Children learn through their play experiences not just by things that are specifically being taught to them. I do my best to challenge the children though a variety of learning methods & teachings. The program is a balance of play based activities both active & quiet, outdoor & indoor play as well as specific learning activities & teachings geared to each child's age & ability.
I am a private home daycare providing a caring & homey atmosphere for each child.

Although private I follow all the rules set out in the Ministry of Education's Childcare & Early years Act, 2014 (CCEYA) & it's regulations. Staying up to date on any changes.
