Hadiya'dagęnhahs - First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre https://linktr.ee/hadiyadagenhahsfnmisc Aboriginal Student Services is one of the services offered within the Student Success Centre.

Our goal is to help all First Nations, Inuit, and Metis students, make the transition to the Brock University community. Aboriginal Student Services advocates for student support while working on your behalf as a liaison between students and the faculty or administration. At Aboriginal Student Services we provide academic support and cultural programming specifically tailored for Aboriginal students. Aboriginal Student Services strives to provide students with resources necessary to succeed in their academic studies at Brock University. In order to help Brock’s Aboriginal students to succeed we offer various complimentary academic services and office related resources. Aboriginal Student Services encourages Aboriginal students to become engaged with the community while at Brock. This includes participating in cultural workshops and events offered throughout the year. To learn more about specific supports, services and events visit our office in TH145 and be sure to check us out often for the most up-to-date information. Come meet the staff in our office, who are available to assist with any of your concerns while at the university, and if needed, will refer you to other services available on campus and in the community.

Spots open for Hamilton!

This Land Base day camp with 13 Moons is being offered to our indigenous community members who are interested in learning, reconnecting with culture, spending time outdoors, and developing a stronger relationship with the land.
No previous experience is required. Come with an open heart, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to listen, learn, and participate. This program will be taking place at a location on Oneida Nation of the Thames. Please ensure that sign up under the region you reside in:

Join us on September 30th as we come together in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The evening will also feature a traditional opening and closing, singing, drumming, and dancing, as well as an Indigenous x Mexican fusion food truck!

Admission is free, with orange shirts and food available for purchase. All members of the community are welcome! 🧡
