First attempt at a new (to me) basket. Presenting the Double Chief's Daughter's Urn. This represents about 15 or 16 hours of work, and is totally worth it. It is the second Cherokee pattern I have done now, and I am smitten. Finished size is 10" x 10 " x 15"h, and weighs one pound. I haven't settled on a price point yet, but it will be somewhere in the $150 - $200 range.

Meet the melon basket! I know, looks a lot like the egg basket, but there are differences! The egg basket is deeper and the ribs are fuller and more ridged, to keep the eggs from rolling around in the basket. The melon basket is not as deep, and 'smoother', following the shape of the hoops more closely. The small melon basket is 8" in diametre, and sells for $20

A new basket! Meet the small melon basket. Similar to the egg basket, yet slightly different. The 'bowl' on this basket is not as deep as the egg basket, and the ribs are more even in length, for a 'smoother' shape, more the shape of a round melon. This basket is also perfect for picking tomatoes, as a bread basket at the table, displaying bath bombs, fruit, whatever you can imagine. 8" in diameter. $20 each

Hangs on the wall, or sits on the counter or back of the toilet (great for narrower spaces). Would you rather hang it on your front door, and have an inner door and a screen door, and need it to be a little thinner front to back? Soak the basket for 5 or 10 minutes in cool water, lay it flat, and set something on it to weigh it down to get the width you desire.

Been working on a new to me basket. The beginnings of a foraging basket. Still need to do the strap/handle on the one on the right. No pricing yet...these would also be great as is, on the counter to hold all your go to tools in the kitchen!

It has been awhile since I've posted, and for that I apologize! Between starting a new part time job, complete basement renos starting, the holidays, and restarting my job and learning both the job and navigating learning how to work from home - whew! The last 6 weeks have been a wild ride! Hope you like my meager offering here, in this small egg basket in green. $20

Lee's than two weeks until Christmas! We all know that 2020 has been turned on it's ear. Are you still looking for something different to give someone for Christmas this year? Have you considered the gift of a basket weaving kit? Either just one that they can do on their own, or one for each of you, and do it together!
