This has been a very hard week for myself and Val we had to say our good byes to our fur baby we were so lucky to have him for the 15 1/2 years its just heart breaking .He was a shop assistant always there to collect the chips and couldnt have asked for a better buddy unconditional love .Miss him so much . This veteran was the recipient of one of the Purple Heart canes that I carved . Even though I’m Canadian it was a really moving ceremony and it was a pleasure to meet this fine gentleman who fought in WW2 .
