Skills Development YWCA Skills Development is an excellent way to increase your knowledge, enhance your skills, build self awareness and a stepping stone in moving life forward.

What is the Skills Development Centre?? The Skills Development Centre is an excellent way to increase your knowledge, enhance your skills, build self awareness and a stepping stone in moving life forward. What are the benefits? The YWCA Skills Development Programs are designed to address your needs and deliver programming in a way that is going to be of benefit to you now and in the long term to assist with change and difficult situations in your life. What’s different about these life skills from others that I have taken? The YWCA Skills Development Programs are created and facilitated in a way that is going to best suit you. The YWCA Skills Development Programs are specific to women, unique in program delivery and are delivered in a realistic, fun and interactive manner.

What an amazing Power of Being a Girl Event 2024! Thank you to all of the high school students that attended! Big shout out to Laura Hughes, our lovely guest speaker, and Erin, our fabulous laughter yoga instructor.

Lastly, thank you to our donors- United Way, Pathstone Mental Health and Zehrs, and Flavour Fuel for catering the delicious lunch!
