Outstanding Young Alumni Award — David Lao, CPA (BAcc ’16)

CPA David Lao is modernizing Canada’s federal public service through work in finance and technology. The young Brock graduate has also championed Indigenous participation in federal procurement and contributes his expertise to health care and community organizations.

🔦 Tunnel Tour — 10 a.m., RFP Atrium
Head beneath campus into Brock's district energy and tunnel system, built in the 1960s to carry heating, cooling and power to every building above. One hour, and a side of Brock most people never see.

🎓 Campus Tour — 2 p.m., main entrance of the Roy and Lois Cairns Health and Bioscience Research Complex
Revisit familiar spaces and see how campus has grown, led by our student ambassadors past key landmarks, academic buildings and student spaces.

🐾 Alumni Spotlight: Rob "Happy" Gilmour

Rob grew up on a turkey farm in Smithville and knew Brock long before he was a student here — class trips for theatre, swimming and sports, and training with the national champion wrestling team in high school.

He started university somewhere else. A few weeks in, he knew where he belonged.

Twenty-five years on, Rob says he owes so much to Brock — the people, the friends, the mentors, and the lifelong bonds built along the way.

Family Fun Zone is back for Homecoming. Junior Badgers work through six activity stations — button making, bracelet making, word search and activity sheets, colouring, tallest-tower building, and a postcard to your future self.

Complete all six to earn Official Junior Badger status. Fun Swim, face painting, and snacks included!

The Steel Blade Classic returns for its 26th year on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. ET at Meridian Centre in St. Catharines! 🏒
