Education Foundation of Niagara

September so far! As a new school year gets underway, our programs are ramping back up and we’ve been busy supporting students and families across Niagara, while also getting out into the community!

Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to:

🎒 Supporting Back-to-School Needs
🦁 Safari Niagara’s Day at the Park
🤝 Welland Mayor’s Charity Gala
⛳ EFN Golf Classic

We’re so grateful for every opportunity to support local students and families, raise awareness for the Foundation, and connect with the community — especially as another school year gets underway!

A special thank you to Mayor Frank Campion and the City of Welland team for selecting EFN as a charity recipient of the Welland Mayor’s Gala, and to the Safari Niagara team for selecting us for Day at the Park.

And thank you to everyone who joined us on the green for our annual EFN Golf Classic yesterday! Your support helps us continue providing programs and resources to DSBN students throughout the school year. 💙

We’re so grateful for the community that continues to show up for Niagara students!

Today is Toonie Tuesday - as part of our Make Change for Children campaign! 🩷

This campaign helps generate funds to support student financial need and emergency relief programs across the DSBN. Every dollar raised directly supports local students and helps ensure they have access to the essentials they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

If you’d like to make a donation, please visit our website www.myefn.org or tap the link in our bio. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of DSBN students!

We are in urgent need of volunteers to help us lift inventory from our event space (the gym of St.Catharines Collegiate) to our storage closet in the basement at the school and tables back to the cafeteria! This role requires heavy lifting. Students are welcome to join us for community service hours for this role!

We are continuing to accept event day volunteer roles but our largest vacancy is 1-2 volunteers for alterations intake & pinning -- examine items to determine if it's suitable to have minor alterations completed before it reaches out alterations team.

Please help us spread the word and sign up here if you're able to: https://forms.gle/i9uQ92vNtntCxy1d9
