We care about building confident, curious, independent singers who LOVE making music.

We care about evidence-based teaching AND making music that feels good, exciting and actually sounds like you - like…the kind of music you actually want to sing 😘

We care about kids having space to explore, create, perform, make mistakes and build real skills without feeling like they have to be perfect all the time.

And we care about adults finding their way back to that child-like joy of singing (millennials, we see you 👀) while still getting really freaking good at it. 🙌

Basically, we want you to take your growth seriously…without taking yourself so seriously.

The thing is…songwriting is a skill.
Songwriting begets songwriting.
The more you write, the more you notice.
The more you experiment, the more your creativity grows.
The more songs you finish, the stronger your songwriting becomes.
That’s why Songwriting Lab isn’t just about writing one great song.
It’s about learning the tools behind great songwriting - crafting lyrics that tell a story, writing memorable melodies, exploring chord progressions, collaborating with other young writers, and discovering your own unique artistic voice.
Whether your child has pages of lyrics hidden in a notebook or has never written a song before, they’ll be encouraged, challenged, and supported every step of the way.

At The Honest Voice Co., we’ve always believed that music education should be more than learning songs (although that’s FUUUN!) - music education should build confidence.

Voice lessons should give kids a place where they feel safe to try, make mistakes, and discover what they’re capable of.

That’s exactly why we’re SO excited to officially introduce two brand new programs for the 2026–2027 season! 🎉

🎤 Pop Performer Club
A weekly beginner group singing class where kids build confidence, learn sustainable evidence-based voice technique, and strengthen their performance skills through the pop songs they already know and love. Perfect for kids who are always singing around the house and are ready to discover what their voices can do in a fun, supportive group. There will be 4 performances throughout the year (Sept-June) where they get to showcase what they’ve been working on!

✍️ Songwriting Lab
A unique creative space for young budding writers to learn the art of songwriting - students will explore lyric writing, melody, storytelling while finding their own unique artistic voice. Even if they’ve never written a song before, beginners are welcome! Maybe they’re writing their very first song or already filling notebooks with ideas, this is a place to create, collaborate, and grow.

Both programs are rooted in the same evidence-based philosophy that guides everything we do at The Honest Voice Co. We LOVE meeting students where they are, helping them build real skills, and making music a place that feels joyful and safe. 💛

Spaces are intentionally limited to keep classes small, supportive, and personalized 💛
