MTO St. Catharines Toastmasters

The Area 57 Fall Speech contest was last night. Paula Berketo and Janice Veltkamp competed in both the Table Topics and the Humorous Speech.

Ladies, you showcased your skills and made our club proud!

Janice will move on to compete at the Division L- Fall Speech Contest:
When: Friday, October 27 from 7-9:30PM at
Where: Bishop Tonnos Highschool, Ancaster.

Division L comprises of 24 clubs in six (6) areas in the lakeshore/Golden Horseshoe vicinity, located between Burlington and Niagara. Janice will be competing against the winners from those areas. How exciting!

Yesterday, the MTO St. Catharines Toastmasters Club had the annual Table Topics Speech Contest. We had five brave contestants: Janani, Mike B., Mariola, Paula and Janice. Congratulations to all of you for participating!

The Table Topics question was- “If you could go back in time when you were 10 years old and give yourself any advice, what would you say?”

The results of the Best Table Topics Speech Contest are:

· Third Place: Mike Britton

Paula and Janice will represent our club at the Area Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contest, TODAY! All members and public are encouraged to attend the this event and support our local Toastmasters club.
