Come out to one of our two weekly meetings (will be announced towards the end of the summer) to participate in practice debates, or come watch. Hello everyone! I hope you're all off to a great start this semester. We have rooms now and look forward to our first meeting next week.
The first meeting will be Wednesday September 24 at 5pm in MCD300
This meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about Debate in general or simply want to work on public speaking in a small comfortable setting

To all of our new members as well as to our veterans the first formal introduction to debate meeting will be held next Wednesday, still waiting on a date and time, seems that BUSU is backed up more than usual this year. Was hoping we'd be up and running this week but unfortunately it is out of our control. Sorry for the delay and I can't wait to see you all!

Hey Badgers! O-Week is almost over :( but that also means the new debate season is almost here! Right now we're looking into having our meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights but were looking for more input as well!
My proposal for tomorrows debate...TH (as the UK) will abolish the right to attain private education. - This topic is insipired by the BBC documentary on youtube called "who gets the most paid jobs". Its a must watch.
