Here's my submission for The Environmental Defense's "Goulish Pumpkin Makeover Contest." I decided to give my old toxic make up another use before they end up in the landfill. It's called, "Tox-IN..... Knocks-OUT."

Don't miss the next PA Day Eco-Camp, "Holidays without Harm" this Friday, November 19th!

The Eco-Campers will learn how to make their holidays eco-friendly through reducing the amount of packaging that is purchased, learning how to sort holiday waste, and creating gifts for friends and family using everyday household items that would otherwise go to waste.

Full Day: 9am-3:30pm - $35.00 (two snacks provided)
Half Day: 9am-12pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm - $25.00 (one snack provided)

Send me a message to register, or visit my website at www.tavvikteaches.com.

There are only 4 days until this year's first PA Day Eco-Camp! We only have a few spots left!

Join us for a "Celebration of Waste Reduction Week." The campers will learn how to reduce the amount of waste their family makes and how to create new useful items out of old household objects.
The campers will also participate in a Fall Scavenger Hunt! They will search Tavvik's outdoor classroom for nature items and "waste" that has been planted in the yard. Campers will then race to place all of the items into the correct waste, recycling or compost bins!

Tavvik and our 3 high school volunteers are looking forward to spending a day of fall fun and eco-learning. Sign up now at www.tavvikteaches.com.
