The oldest is 9 she is truly one of the kindest girls yet recently has become full of s***k with a great sense of humor. My youngest is my 3-year-old son who is very curious, and likes to test the boundaries all day long, while sporting a smile. We love to be outdoors, camping, taking walks, swimming or playing. ** Lightboxes (Lightboxes can be quite pricey. This is a simple craft light board and a great substitute)are a very adaptable teaching tool and you can use them for many open-ended play experiences. They also create a very inviting learning space. They are interesting and will captivate and hold children’s attention. The warm glow from the lightbox creates an aesthetic appeal for the whole playroom too.**

As I look through some memories of the children i have here in my care tears fall from my eyes. knowing that in a matter of weeks I will be moving and restarting in a new city brings me a sense of joy and sadness at the same time.
This is a post from my personal page that i came across from two years ago.
This little gem is still in my care and is very different than that little girl who walked through my door over two years ago.
I asked one of my daycare parents if I could use her daughter in one of my personal Facebook posts.
This little girl has come leaps and bounds. I am so proud of her. She had been coming here full time for almost 2 months. Before that she was once a week as I was backup for her full time daycare.
Never would she get dirty or even touch paint.
Never would she leave my side.
Never would she play with the other kids.
Everyday we go outside she was too afraid to climb and absolutely hated the swing. Just saying the word swing made her cry.
Well this week she faced all of her fears! She jumped in muddy puddles. She started to climb the rock wall side of the play structure and most of all she asked to try the swing!!
The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice.
With confidence building from her Dad Mom and I this little girl is another carefree dare devil on the playground!!!

You can't see all their faces but I will tell you this picture captures each of their personalities perfectly. This group has grown so much over the past 3 years. Every one of these children (and those before) will always own a piece of my heart. As i pack up and make a big move to St.Catharines I will leave a piece of my heart with each of them. This is one of the saddest goodbyes this woman has ever had to make.
