Happy Sunday Moms. Remember that nobody advises God. 🥰

Every mom is so special.
I am a mom of six living, one in heaven. I am also a professional, a Purpose Coach, and an entrepreneur. But to me, the title I carry with the most weight, the one I would choose above everything else, is mom.

Every woman is a mother in potentiality, but the moment you do become a mother in actuality, you don’t just gain a child. You download an archetype. The full Mother, in all her manifestations.

The one who nurtures and the one who grieves. The one who protects fiercely and the one who sometimes has nothing left.

The light side that gets celebrated on Mothers Day, with the flowers and the brunches and the well-deserved rest. And the shadow side that rarely gets named, the exhaustion that goes bone-deep, the anxiety that never fully clocks out, the love so enormous it sometimes feels indistinguishable from fear.

We don’t talk about this part enough.
Motherhood is an anxious job. I will just say it plainly. I don’t mean mothers are fragile, I mean the stakes are impossibly high and the margin for error feels terrifyingly thin.

You are responsible for a whole human being, their safety, their sense of worth, their capacity to love and be loved. That is not a small thing to carry. And for single moms, that weight doesn’t get shared.

And yet. That same weight is what sharpens you.

I have never been refined by anything the way motherhood has refined me. Not my career. Not my books. Not the years I have spent coaching others through their own becoming.

Nothing has demanded more of me, cracked me open more completely, or asked me to grow in more directions simultaneously than loving six completely different human beings through completely different stages of life, each one meeting a different version of me, each one requiring something I didn’t yet know I had.

That is why so much of my coaching is oriented toward single moms. Because I know the specific weight of that particular journey.

The underlying anxiety, the invisible scars and labour. The way you are always the last one to be taken care of, if you are taken care of at all.

And I want to say to every mother, every day is your day.
