📚✨ Library Book Round-Up Time! ✨📚

As we wrap up another amazing school year, we're asking families to take one last look around for any library books that may have wandered off on an adventure! 🕵️‍♀️📖

Check backpacks, bedrooms, vehicles, under beds, and between couch cushions. Every book returned helps us get ready for next year's readers.

Yesterday we were able to acknowledge all the hard work put in by our grade five and six math contest students. The participated in a nationwide competition back in May and the results and certificates arrived in the mail at the end of last week. It was a hard test and the all did great. Our overall winners were Arlio Valadka in grade five and Trent Brown in grade six! Once again congratulations to everyone!

Our School Council also presented awards to two members of our parent group for the years and years they have dedicated to volunteering here at the school - Julie Dufresne and Mindy Pumphrey. A big round of applause goes out to these two for all the amazing work they have put in over the years!

It is a special day when we can take the time to honour many of the volunteers that make École Good Shepherd School the amazing place that it is. From helping on school council, to reading with students, helping on field trips and organizing our hot lunch program… just to name a few, please know how much we recognize the huge contributions our parent volunteers make. Our Volunteer Tea is just a small way to say thank you.
