We are enjoying some fruit and vanilla yogurt dip out on the deck for snack this afternoon!

Loose parts binoculars!

The girls have all been so intrigued by the different types of birds we have seen around the pond we took the opportunity to make some binoculars to help us spot and identify more.
I love seeing how they used the different materials to decorate and make their binoculars their own.
Now we wait for this afternoon to test them out!

Taking a break from our morning bike ride to colour some chalk on the rocks. This is the kids favorite place to play beside the pond, it has rocks to climb, trees to hide and explore in and the path makes for a smooth bike ride.

Exploring wet snow and chalk mixed together to make bright colours!

Using our pincer grasps to make bean name pictures this morning.
We talked about patterns as we picked out beans to line up on the glue and practiced identifying different letters in our names. 🫘🌱

Snack time!
Fresh hulk muffins are best when everyone has worked as a team to make them!

Springtime at the pond is our favorite. So many birds, ducks and butterflies this morning. The ducks kept diving into the water "playing peekaboo" with us.

We might have to try some of these out as the weather gets warmer!

Took our crafting outside into the warm sunshine to make our own flower after reading "The Tiny Seed" by Eric Carle!
