Student homerooms and course timetables are now posted on Edsembli.

We know students and their families are excited to get the new school year started, and appreciate your patience as an influx in log ins into Edsembli can slow down the system. Homerooms and timetables are posted annually on August 15th to grant families time to access class information without the concert ticket presale panic feeling.

When you have questions about accessing your Edsembli, or about your child's upcoming school year, please connect directly with the school office. Beginning August 21, school office staff will be available by phone and email to support families with Edsembli access and back-to-school questions while schools continue preparations for the new year.

Edsembli Portal Access Update:

Our Central Services team is currently setting up Edsembli for the next school year, and to assist with that process, the Edsembli Family Portal has been temporarily disabled.

We know students and families are excited to see their classroom assignment and timetable for the upcoming year. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works to make sure student data is accurate for the scheduled launch date of August 15th.

Attempts to log in before August 15th may result in "Account not found" or "Access denied". Please try again after this date before resetting your password or connecting with your child's school regarding account access. School office teams will be available after August 21 to assist with accounts and your back-to-school inquiries.

The Friends of Foothills Schools Foundation Literacy Playground helps students build stronger reading and comprehension skills, greater confidence, and a love of learning. This year's program supported 23 learners, with all participants making significant gains and 70% now reading at or above grade level.

The United Nations' International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples is an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous cultures and contributions around the world while reflecting on the many paths that have brought people together throughout history. August 1st is Emancipation Day and marks the end of slavery across the British Empire in 1834. Prior to this, people of African and Indigenous descent were enslaved in the regions previously known as Nouvelle France, Upper Canada, and Lower Canada.

Freedom, dignity, and human rights are worth recognizing every day. Today is a reminder to learn from history, celebrate progress, and continue building communities where everyone is valued and respected.
