Check it out! Special Promo Code for FSD Students below 👇🏼

The Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra will be coming to the Okotoks Alliance Church on October 17th at 7:30PM to perform "Heroes and Heroines".

To start the concert, students from FSD's École Okotoks Junior High and Alberta High School of Fine Arts will play "O Canada" alongside students of CTR's St. Francis of Assisi and Holy Trinity Academy. Students will be conducted by an esteemed École Secondaire Highwood High School graduate!

Plus, the Band Director at École Okotoks Junior High, Breanne Jamieson, is a part of the RMSO in the role of principal horn.

This is a celebration of fine arts in FSD and across the region. 🎶

This week, schools across Foothills School Division are recognizing Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

By wearing orange, we are committing to our shared responsibility that every child matters. We commit to taking the time to learn from the stories of the children and their families who experienced residential schools. Through this we are reminded that reconciliation is not only about acknowledging the past, but also about the choices we make today to create places where every child belongs.
