I'm guilty of only sharing the adult led, pretty activities. But I am just so proud of each one of my littles for this card board taped on the wall masterpiece, it has to be shared. Each one of the littles was involved in this completely child led activity at some point or another, they had great perserverence to work on this for much of the day, which is incredible for a group of 2-5 year olds. They shared turns with supplies, worked together, taught each other new skills, practised their scissor skills, worked on holding pencils with colouring, used those gross motors to climb and reach as high as they could on the wall, but also put some pieces down low "for the little guys", they brainstormed different and more efficient ways of doing things. So many necessary skills were utilized in this creation, with almost no intervention needed from the adult. I am so proud of this group of littles!
