Our deepest gratitude to the Niagara Valley A&ASR for their generous donation to the Learning Centre for Niagara. These funds will go toward training tutors and acquiring the resources needed for them to begin 'helping children with dyslexia to read". On June 14 we celebrated the successes of the Learning Centre during the past year. Eight children graduated from the program and four tutors received their OG certification. Congratulations to all of them! Guests were treated to a viewing of the video about the Centre and then feasted on cake and ice cream. Our thanks to all who made this celebration one to remember!

Somewhere in the crowd are 3 tutors from the Learning Centre for Hamilton. They reported that the conference was a huge success: lots of networking and idea sharing, lots of new and useful information and tools, and lots of friendly people. Thanks to the good folks at the SR Learning Centre Halifax for hosting!
