Yesterday our preschoolers were helping their teachers empty some of the buckets that were filled of water from the rain over the weekend. The water started to travel very fast down the cement and travelling to the grass. Preschool 2 grabbed some chalk and sticks to help stop the water. They began to colour the water blue and noticed when they mix water and chalk together that it creates a paint type base. Chalk is a free form creative activity for our preschoolers to think outside the box’s as they explore the texture when chalk and water mix together and creative a liquid base.
