Mountain Nursery School

ongoing objective at Mountain Nursery School is to provide the highest-quality childcare so that every child can attain their greatest potential in physical, emotional, and intellectual development, in addition to language and social skills. All of our teachers are Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers. They are specially trained to help children in their earliest development stages. All aspects of a child’s development are nurtured at the school, including:

All meals and snacks are balanced and delicious for the children and follow Canada’s Food Guide. The school has an on-site chef that prepares hot lunches right at the school. Organic, locally-grown fruits and vegetables are served when available during the summer months. Facilities and playground are spacious. The school has an outdoor play area that exceeds the Day Nurseries Act (DNA) of Ontario requirements by five times! The fully-fenced outdoor recreational area measures 75 feet by 315 feet and is divided into three separate areas. The play area is away from the street so that the children are not in contact with car fumes. At Mountain Nursery School we prepare graduating children so that they are ready academically, socially, and emotionally for the next level of primary schooling. We provide fulltime and part-time care, with two full days or three full days a week. Please contact us to find out about the availability of subsidy spots!
